Our Mission
To share the good news of Jesus Christ with those in prison, offering hope, redemption, and transformation through His life, death, and resurrection.
We partner with prison chaplains across Canada. Equipping them with the tools they need to effectively minister to inmates.
At Gospel Echoes Canada West, our mission is rooted in the belief that every life can be renewed through Christ. Through His sacrifice on the cross and His victory over death, we believe men can be freed from the penalty of sin and restored as new creations. Guided by our motto, “Sharing Christ in Prison,” we work in partnership with local churches to provide meaningful, Christ centred ministry to inmates and chaplains at no cost.
Supported by generous churches, individuals, businesses, and monthly partners, we are committed to reaching those who are often forgotten, the least, the lost, and the last. Inspired by Matthew 25:36, “I was in prison and ye visited me,” we seek to bring presence, compassion, and the message of hope into every life we touch.
What We Believe
We Believe the entire Bible, and that it is the only inspired word of the One uncreated and triune Creator God, and that it will stand forever (John 1:1).
We Believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only Son of the living God, Who by His virgin birth, appeared among man as the Lamb of God to be the supreme sacrifice, the only atonement for the sin of all men by the shedding of His precious blood on the cross of Calvary (Luke 1:26-35; John 3:1-21).
We Believe that Jesus died, was buried, arose from the grave on the third day, ascended into Heaven where He now is the mediator between God and man, and that He shall return to take His Bride, the church, to be with Him forever (Matt. 27:34-28:10; Luke 24:50-53; John 14; Acts 1:9-11).
We Believe that those who do not accept Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour shall upon departure from this life enter a place of conscious eternal punishment, Hell (Rev. 20:14-15; Matt. 10:28-30; Luke 16:23; Mark 9:42-48).
We Believe that our primary responsibility in this life is to fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord, to evangelize the world through the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:4-8).
Gospel Echoes Canada West is committed to working with all born-again Christians to accomplish this great task before the return of our Lord Jesus Christ whose kingdom shall have no end. Further, we take it as our responsibility and calling to help men and women while incarcerated and as they are released back into the community.

Our History
Since 1976, Gospel Echoes has been sharing the hope of Jesus Christ with people impacted by incarceration. Founded by Marvin and Amy Beachy in Goshen, Indiana, the ministry began by bringing the Gospel into prisons through discipleship materials and has since grown to serve correctional institutions across North America.
In 1991, Gospel Echoes Team Association, Canada West became a registered Canadian charity (Charitable Registration No. 132215617RR0001). Today, the ministry is supported by individuals, churches, businesses, and volunteers who are passionate about sharing Christ's love with inmates.
For over 50 years, God has faithfully opened new doors for the ministry. As opportunities continue to grow, we remain committed to sharing the message of redemption and life transformation through Jesus Christ. We thank God for allowing us to make positive changes in the lives of hundreds of prison inmates and their families.
